Privacy

This is a hobby server run by one person. It keeps as little as it can while still being fair to play on.

What the game server stores

Minecraft UUID and name	So your seat survives a disconnect, your stats add up, and bans stick. Kept until you ask for removal.
Game results	Which table, when, who won, points, roads, knights per seat. Shown on `/stats`, `/top` and the front page.
Chat	Written to a log with your name and table, deleted after 14 days. Used only to look into reports.
Bans and mutes	UUID, name, reason, who set it, until when.
Connection logs	Your IP address appears in the server log at login and in the web server log when you load this page or the resource pack. Rotated after 14 days.

What it does not do

No accounts, passwords or e-mail. Authentication is Mojang's normal login; this server never sees your password.
No cookies, no analytics, no third-party scripts on this site. The front page fetches two small JSON files from api.catan.online. If a shop opens, it will have its own privacy section here before it goes live.
Nothing is sold or shared. The leaderboard shows Minecraft names only.

Removal

To have your name and history deleted, ask in-game or e-mail hello@catan.online with your Minecraft name. Bans are kept as a UUID-only record so they still hold.
